Diary of an ordinary woman.....by Margaret Forster. I bought this book from MPH Midvalley about a month back. Only reason I was attracted to it was the author. Have you ever had this compulsion to read all books by the same author ( when the first book you ever read was compelling ??)....The title was unattractive. So I left it and got absorbed with Georgette Heyer's mystery novel. Read three of them back to back. It's true and good advive never read a book unless you're in the right mood. Otherwise it'll be spoilt forever.
Currently at page 164. It's such a good book I feel I want to tell everybody to go out and get a copy. Forster meets 99 year old Milicent King, who has been keeping diaries of her childhood. The entries are written in simple and clear English. It's a really really good book.
