I spent the weekend at Westin Langkawi. Strictly speaking, I spent 24 hours there. Whenever one is offered a chance of a free trip out of kuala lumpur,people usually assume you're all excited and geared towards making the MOST out of the holiday. In my case, the trip meant spending two weekends away from home with laundry mounting, and clothes to be ironed. My impression of the place was marred by the food. And I might add, the beach was muddy so no romantic notions of walking along the beach with the wind in your hair ( or fringe ).Saturday, February 28, 2009

We didn't get as far as the beach..but yes the scenery was relaxing.
